Jayan Prakash

Jayan Prakash has won the 2026 Kartmasters GP Plate in MicroMax UK, completing a demanding weekend at PF International with two pole positions, a Super Heat victory and the Grand Prix Final win.

Kartmasters began with a purposeful test programme, focused on working through set-up options, collecting data and preparing for the multi-session format ahead. That work showed immediately when Jayan took pole position in the first qualifying session and followed it with a Heat 1 win.

The second heat brought a setback. An on-track incident dropped Jayan out of contention, and he was classified eighth. However, the pace remained clear, and the response across the rest of the meeting was measured and effective.

Jayan returned to pole position in the second qualifying session, then added fourth and second-place finishes across Saturday’s heats. Those results put him third on the grid for Sunday’s Super Heat, where he moved back to the front and took the win.

That set up the decisive Grand Prix Final. Jayan delivered when it counted, taking the chequered flag to secure the GP Plate and add another major result to his 2026 season.

The weekend was not without its challenges, but it showed Jayan’s ability to reset, adapt and put together the performance required on Finals Day. After two qualifying poles and a return to the front in the Super Heat, the Grand Prix win was a fitting conclusion to the weekend.
