Jayan Prakash has won the Micro Max category at the RMC International Trophy in Le Mans, completing a landmark international week with pole position, three qualifying-heat wins and victory in the Final.
The result earns Jayan the opportunity to represent Team UK at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals later this year.
Le Mans presented a new challenge from the outset. It was Jayan’s first time racing at the circuit and his first event using the European-specification Micro Max package on Mojo tyres. The event schedule also brought an unusual rhythm, with running restricted to early-morning and late-evening sessions during the heatwave.
Jayan adapted quickly. After taking pole position in qualifying, he won all three qualifying heats to secure maximum points and lead the Micro field into the final day. It was a controlled, front-running run through a competitive 35-driver grid.
The Super Heat provided the only interruption to an otherwise perfect sequence, with Jayan taking second place. He responded when it mattered most, delivering the Final victory to secure the RMC International Trophy title.
The win is an important step in Jayan’s 2026 campaign. It reflects the ability to adapt to a new circuit and equipment package, perform consistently across a full international event, and convert that form into a title-winning Final result.
With the RMC International Trophy secured, attention now turns to representing Team UK at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals.
