Jayan Prakash returned from RMC UKC Round 5 at Three Sisters with another front-running Micro Max result: pole position, three race wins and second place in the Final.
The weekend began with a strong statement in qualifying, where Jayan secured pole position before taking command of Saturday’s wet programme. Two heat victories followed, with Jayan demonstrating consistent pace at the front of the field in changing conditions.
Sunday started in the same fashion. Jayan won the Super Heat after a close battle with Sebastian Crawford, earning a place at the head of the field for the Final and completing a run of three race wins across the weekend.
The Final presented a contrasting challenge. A late change in conditions after the set-up window had closed meant the kart was working at the opposite end of the range to the eventual track demands. An early setback dropped Jayan to third, but he stayed composed, worked his way forward and secured a hard-fought second place at the flag.
While the Final win narrowly escaped him, the weekend underlined the strength of Jayan’s campaign. Pole position, three victories and a Final podium were the product of a consistently competitive performance across a demanding event.
The result keeps Jayan second in the 2026 RMC UKC Micro Max Championship on 571 points, level with Lenny Barton and only nine points behind the lead. With one round still to run at Dunkeswell, the championship remains firmly in contention.
The focus now turns to the final round, where Jayan will look to carry this Three Sisters momentum into the championship decider.
